Ordering and payment
PRICES: Prices are given in pounds sterling (£). If you want to pay in € (or any other currency) please contact us for a firm price before ordering. This will only be possible with large orders.
Two £ prices are displayed, including and excluding VAT. UK customers will be charged VAT. EU customers will also be charged VAT unless a valid EU VAT registration number is provided with your order.
Non-EU customers will not be charged VAT.
POSTAGE & PACKING: Prices exclude postage and packing. Postage will be charged at cost, plus a minimum handling & packaging charge of £1.00.
DESPATCH: Items will normally be sent within 2-3 working days. Specialist items and large orders may take longer, but you will be informed of this when the order is confirmed. Similarly we will let you know if items are out of stock.
Items are normally sent by Royal Mail or Parcelforce. Bulky and heavy orders (over 30kg) may be split.
Export orders are sent by airmail so as to expedite delivery - please state if slower surface mail is preferred.
PAYMENT:
We accept payment by £sterling but can accept other currencies providing banking costs are borne by the purchaser (contact us if you want to pay in a currency apart from £sterling). Payment can be made by cheque, banker's draft, postal order or electronic transfer. Cheques should be made payable to B&S Entomological Services. Banker's draft is the most cost effective and secure method of payment for non-UK customers.
ORDERS: Orders can be placed by post, phone, fax or email. You can also you the contact form. We will normally acknowledge orders by email within two working days. You can copy the order form and email to sales@entomology.org.uk, or print it out and send it to us by fax or post.
We accept official orders from public bodies including Government departments, conservation organisations, local authorities, museums and research and educational establishments. Please post or fax your official order with order number. Payment should be made within 30 days of receipt of goods. The goods supplied shall be the property of B&S Entomological Services until payment is made. B&S Entomological Services will be entitled to charge interest at rate of 5% per month on all overdue payments.
